I bought my 1st one years ago, when items were still $3 and didn't use it, because I thought it was too stiff for scraping a batter bowl. (it was) It didn't occur to me to use it for something other than baking, until I was watching a cooking show and saw the chef using a similar one for everything. I began using the one I had and loved it, so I recently purchased a second one. It's a great tool, the perfect weight and size. Excellent quality for the price.
