    About 5 Ply Cookware
    Suitable for all cooktop surfaces, the 430 stainless steel heating surface construction enables usage of this pan even on induction cooktops. The 5 layer construction provides more even heat distribution and retention across the entire surface, which reduces surface hot spots to deliver more even browning across your dish.  The 304 stainless steel food surface is a durable and stain resistant surface that doesn't have the health negatives associated with fluoronated non-stick surface treatments.

    Cleaning Instructions

    • Before first use, clean cookware in warm, soapy water with non-abrasive sponge
    • Cookware is dishwasher-safe, but hand washing using non-abrasive sponges is recommended


    Storage

    • To keep your stainless steel cookware looking its best inside and out, avoid stacking the cookware pieces or include a paper or fabric layer in between pans to prevent surface scratching

    400 Series = Lesser Quality (corrosion, leaching, staining)

    Note: these pans are made with SEries 400 stainless steel, which is a lesser quality that will corrode, leach and stain more quickly. I was disappointed to learn this post-purchase, because it's note easy to find on the Brandless website. Stainless pans are also supposed to be stamped with the steel quality/bland on the bottom. In this case, it should be stamped "18/0" for the series 400 but there is NO STAMP.

    We were very disappointed to see them stain after a single use (see photo)! Staining can occur (ironically) with stainless steel pots/pans, but usually not so easily!

    Sticky Pan

    Very sticky sticky sticky pan. Even if you coat pan with butter or oil, you can count on what ever you are cooking will stick to the pan like a rock. Do not buy!

    I've only had this a couple weeks but am loving it so far. A really high quality pan. My only regret is that I didn't buy all three during the Home sale.

    Excellent pan for the money. Excellent construction and materials used. Will buy more pans in this line.
