Almost effortless to use, easy to clean, great for joint protection if you have arthritis.

The metal sides on the handle are rough, almost sharp, in fact the bottom part of the handle is sharp on the inside. It's very uncomfortable and irritating to hold. You have to drag the blade side very slowly across the vegetable, or the julienne strips will fly up into the air and go everywhere. I bought this at 40% off and I am still extremely disappointed. I will not be using it again.

Pretty sturdy and very much as useful as the vegetable peeler. Excited to have this reliably cut down on prep time.
