Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions

    1. Drain the canned tomatoes, chop the onion, jalapeño (seeding it first if you want less heat), and cilantro. Juice the lime
    2. Place all ingredients in the blender
    3. Pulse the blender a few times until the salsa reaches your desired consistency
    4. Taste and add more seasoning as needed
    5. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later
